If Supernatural was a book.

I ended up really liking this, which is no surprise since I loved The Midnight Bargain. But the ending...why is it giving

what the hell...It felt like all of that was for nothing. 

Everything else was good though, starting with the writing style, then the characters, plot and worldbuilding. I wouldn't have minded if the worldbuilding was a bit heavier, to be honest, but since it's a novella, there was enough of it. The audiobook was nice too, but I think I should've read this myself, mayhaps upon reread I will.
