Supernatural x Sapphic Noir. I honestly just don’t think I enjoy the noir thing, something about it. Angels and Demons at work here, blood magic & secret Brotherhood society.
I loved the idea but I don’t think it was executed very well. I understand this is on their shorter side (133pgs~) but I can see the potential here. The ending is one that works for the book but personally had my eyes rolling.
It’s very obvious about 30 pages in where this is going. IF YOU WANT A MYSTERY THIS IS NOT FOR YOU.
Overall, this book just did not work for me.
