This book stands out over the 2 earlier Sherlock Holmes books I read. It was a lot more gripping and the creepy atmosphere was amazing. It's a new favorite of mine. 4.5

Sometimes I really struggle getting my brain to switch from reading modern literature to classic literature, so I did have some trouble getting into this. BUT! Once I got my head around the switch I got into it and soared through it. I could just imagine RDJ and Jude law running around fields chasing/being chased by a great hound, I loved the mystery and just was thrilled to read something that gripped me so quickly.

Wow! I've been converted to a Sherlock fan! I've seen film adaptations of Sherlock so I knew I liked the characters and the mystery but I was uncertain as to the actual writing. Rest assured, it is easy to follow but also quite witty.
I was surprised as to some revelations in this story and Doyle did an excellent job setting up the atmosphere and creating a puzzling case.
Loved it! Can't wait to read more Sherlock in the future!

I enjoyed the narration I listened to! Very thrilling story! Great Holmes detective work.
this was boring and i hated it. and Sherlock and Watson did not kiss ONCE.
