“I will never hurt you.” he says, and he lets me press closer.
It was one of our best moments
(jamie’s a bitch i do not care)

°˖➴ the ending had be sobbing. this book was such an emotional rollercoaster for me. like i liked jamie but i HATEDD jamie so fucking much. i was rooting for finny and autumn it HURT. honestly would read a second time. this was such a good book i wish i didn’t finish it 😓

°˖➴ i will be holding a grudge against jamie for cheating on autumn w sasha. I HATE THEM and the way he asked if she wanted a ride to the hospital made me GAG. i already knew it was a red flag when he said “me too” when she said I LOVE YOU. and the SAME DAY he went to get a corsage for autumn he SLEEPS with SASHA and say “we can still be friends” is honestly INSANE. i will forever hate james allen for that shit he pulled you CANNOT change my mind WHATSOEVER.

°˖➴ finny was a sweetheart actually making me sob & wonder when i’ll find MY FINNY 🙏 like he’s so sweet i can’t breathe. i was rooting for finny since the beginning. JAMES ALLEN RUINED EVERYTHING.

3.75 ⭐️ 0.5💧0.5 🌶️ (non-descriptive)
This was a reread for me before I read the sequel. I liked the audiobook and the narrator they chose, since she has a younger voice. It was less depressing to read this time around bc I knew the story.

OG review:
The style of writing is unique in that there’s not a lot of dialogue, but more like how a teenager would tell their diary what happened today. Takes you right back to hs🥲 a personally hard read because of this. -1 ⭐️ because it’s a sad beginning, first 2/3, and end, and bc of a trope I don’t like that popped up at the end. I would catch myself feeling hopeful for FMC and have to keep reminding myself she doesn’t get a HEA. Would reread, ready to get wrecked by the sequel.

Came back to give this a 5-star because I have not gotten over the ending days later.
