Can sad things be beautiful? That is a question that is brought up in the book and stated as a fact by the main character Autumn and I feel like it was a way to prepare us for what was to come in this book. Was the book beautiful? In its way yes. Did it absolutely destroy my soul and shatter my heart on the ground? Also yes.
