If you are a Fancy Nancy fan, this is another great installment. A simple introduction to fall for the preschool crowd.

This book was good, but also disappointing. Fancy Nancy was fancy as usual, but she wasn't fanciful. There was a spark missing. The art was certainly colorful, but it was also perfunctory. Perhaps that's because the story was rather plain and lacking in the cleverness of other fancy Nancy stories. It was only after I finished reading the story that I noticed the original author and illustrator didn't create this book, another team did. So, in short, a solid story, but one that doesn't compare well to the originals.

My daughter was also not a fan of this story. She only read it one time. I believe she found it uneventful.
