Third book in the series. This one brings Leah and her second chance at life. She wants to keep her past in the past. But things never stayed buried. Can she find happiness with a Martian mate? And will her forgotten past destroy it all?
This might be crazy of me, but this is actually very good. The world building at the beginning was very well done and the motives and characterization of the main two people was very well done. The plot was intriguing and kept me invested throughout the book. There is also a lot of alien sex if that’s your thing.

This story was high heat, high sexual intensity, and focused on character and relationship development. I empathised with Leah, the female lead’s, focus on ignoring her past because she regretted it so much and appreciated the cinnamon roll alpha the genetically enhanced warrior male lead, Jav, was.
The story was dual POV, well written and edited, and a very enjoyable read. I received a complimentary copy from the author but this is my honest review.

It was pretty good don’t mind my start and end day I read a few books at once.
This was an audiobook and I think with a better narrator the story would have been more alive.

I really wish there'd been more interactions and scenes between the two MCs before they 'sealed the deal'. The writing is a bit stilted and ridiculous at times. For instance, "I've mated with you over 100 times over the last 3 days"
Um, yeah. Can you even imagine? For those that don't want to do the calculations, that's OVER 33 times per day. Basically, sex every 45 minutes over a 24 hour period. I've read plenty of romance books with impressively virile fictional men but this takes it to a whole 'nother unbelievable level! I think her hoo-ha would be an inflamed, swollen and painful mass of tissue after day 1 considering how well endowed the H is!
