Tropes: Fake Dating, Enemies-to-lovers, workplace romance

Very fun book. I really enjoyed the two mains cause their love story was adorable. it was a vague enemies to lovers, more like rivals to lovers tbh which I liked. The romance happened at least the fmc end fairly early but the flirting and banter between them was great.

I picked this one up because it was in a list of books for people who enjoyed reading Emily Henry. The Ex Talk is the story of two coworkers who create a podcast/ radio show with the premise of exes giving relationship advice. Dominic & Shay’s story is fresh and lighthearted.

This was an easy and enjoyable read. The banter was funny and the radio show was interesting. At time toward the end it was sad and hit me in the feels. The ending was nice and hopeful.
