I think this book is best than other books (Maze runner series)!!

Now I know where the flare started!

BUT! I am still curious about who is Thomas' parents! I have feeling that Mark and Trina are Thomas' parents!! If you know who Thomas' parents is then tell me!!

Ah, finally, I am done with this series!!!!

trash. they could’ve made this book half as long and the characters twice as likable everything was just so bland it was hard to get through

Best book of the series. Maze Runner hooked me and then Scorch Trials really had me going, then Death Cure left me feeling blah. I was reluctant to read the prequel (came out after last book in series???). Death Cure wore me out- the story went on and on without any real answers. This book, though...wow! I couldn't stop reading. We find out about the virus and who really released it and why. We meet the initial survivors after the sun flares burn and radiate most of earth. The story is intense and stressful. I was fully engaged and a bit tense through most of the reading. The Crankheads scared me with their violence and lack of humanity. Mark is a great main character and I liked having the story told through his perspective. He's scared yet brave and very loyal to his friends. Great, great book. I wish the other books were this intense; Scorch Trials came close- intense and stressful.

Reread (The slang still annoys me, that’s why it has a lower score)

This just seemed to be one worst awful thing after another, which makes sense for the series, but it just didn't captivate me like the first two books. I liked the ending as well, but thought it could have been a little better.

I liked the book when u was reading it: there is a lot of action, suspense and plot twists. However reflecting in the book I found it a little unnecessary and it didn’t really explain any new information. I also didn’t really like following Mark and Alex and Trina because they seemed random to be reading about. I didn’t really understand why Dashner chose to write about them and not someone we were already familiar with from the rest of the series. But all may be explained in the last book, I don’t know. But I really loved the ending!!!!

I could not bring myself to like the main character and wasn't very invested in the plotline because of it. I read TMR series a long time ago so the memory gap might be affecting my rating for reading the prequel now, but honestly, just didn't like this one too much. Was just wanting it to be over, shrug.
