2.5 stars for me. I could not get past the very weird and unnatural dialogue. Also, there was minimal character development because of everything that was happening. People died that I think we were supposed to be sad about, but I wasn’t because we had not known them that much. If that makes any sense whatsoever.

Despite that, I did have fun reading this book, and I was entertained.

I do love little books that tell me more about who came from where. I always wanted to know where Newt and Minho came from but I think that’s the next book? Hearing Teresa’s story was a good one too though. Only knocking it down some stars because I hate books that have no happy ending. All of the characters died. Literally all of them. And all very close to one another. Should’ve guessed that would happen but who can blame a girl for not wanting to read about the terribly heartbreaking backstory of a main group of characters who finally found peace and hope just to watch it get ripped from them? Also knowing that Teresa ALSO dies and having to hear about her and Thomas first meeting and sharing their stories with eachother while also knowing thomas will never remember her from those times because he chose not to recover his memories. Sheesh, too much heartbreak.
