Honestly, this is why I don’t like to read books written by men. I listened to the audio version and unfortunately I think the narrator made Mark Manson sound even more like an asshole than he actually is, but that doesn’t change the words on the page. Mark comes off self righteous and conceited, which makes it hard to take in the actual advice. Nothing too life changing came out of this for me, which was disappointing because I had high hopes. Frankly this book sounds like sitting next to a frat guy in college and listening to him mansplain why nothing matters and he has life all figured out. I hate to write a review like this but I wish I’d been told this before I purchased this book.
