Oh man I loved this book so much! Getting to see old characters and new ones. The climax was crazy and had me practically running around my room. I loved the princesses and Nora they were so cute. The romance was unexpected but very welcome. I enjoyed the politics in the book though I can see how some people would find it boring. Overall the reason I gave it a 4.5 is that i felt like not a lot happened in the over 500 pages.

Loved the beginning, got bogged down in the middle, liked how things picked up by the end. I appreciate how the author continues to present characters (including seemingly unlikeable ones) and their choices (even truly crappy choices) as nuanced.

This book was okay. Lots of story lines intersecting and it became a bit hard to keep track of side characters. I don't think I'll finish the series.

I loved being back with these characters from the Cursebreaker Series!

Started really slow but then started to pick up at about the halfway mark. A lot of political intrigue, so if that’s your jam then go for it. I didn’t read the Cursebreaker series first and I think my enjoyment of this book and understanding of the world would have been a lot better if I had. I’ll definitely read the rest of the series - super interested to see how Callyn’s love interest plays out in the coming books!

I listened to the audiobook and the performances were excellent.

Good adventure tale, hard to put down. Loved: disabled, queer, and strong female characters, and the tense plot. Dislike: weird Washington DC doctor time/space travel random thing that connected to nothing else, it took me out of it.  I'll definitely read the follow up if there is one.
