Big fan of John Mark.
This was a timely book for me. And I think it will be for many.
I recently have been ruminating over Bonhoeffer's quote "God hates visionary dreaming; it makes the dreamer proud and pretentious." While I do think there is a truth to this (and a whole lot of hyperbole), I think the quote can be misleading. And personally, the concept of dreaming has felt on pause.
I resonate deeply with JMC's visionary heart. I've felt this holy longing for transcendence my whole life and have found dreaming to be the foremost way of living out a sanctified imagination.
The simple words "Dream. And dream well." will sit with me for long.
Now brb I'm going to go journal.
