im legit so so confused rn?????!!!!

I'm loving these characters and the plot so much that I'm not going to write a long review because I NEED to start reading the second book!!!!

Mara and Noah are perfect
the not knowing of specifics and details in certain situations adds amazing suspense to the book that makes it almost impossible to put down!

Do yourself a favor and read it!!!
dark mysterious tense fast-paced
Plot or Character Driven: A mix
Strong character development: Yes
Loveable characters: Yes
Diverse cast of characters: Yes
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

I’m gonna write this review for the entire series because I don’t entirely remember what happened in each book but I thought the series overall was amazing.
It was so intriguing to see what was happening to her and finding out that there was a whole group of people that were watching her as she sort of developed. Omg omg omg and bro it was so eerie bc I don’t do well with haunted creepy dolls and such and to read about this freaking doll moving around her house and showing up back in her room after throwing it out was like watching a horror movie tbh. Anyways I love Noah and how dedicated he is to her and how understanding he is. Also how he just knows when he meets her that she’s different. Also wait like finding out he was deceased was like um excuse me I expect there’s gonna be a plot twist but if there ain’t I’m going to cry. So I’m glad there was a plot twist otherwise I seriously would’ve cried. The entire island hospital thing was random to me but now that I look back on it it was kind of fitting it was just that new things kept popping up as we turned each corner. Overall I’m glad that Noah didn’t die bc he hot tbh and they got their cute reunion and Daniel being the smart cookie that he is just started doing his own research apparently. Also I love the other guy, Jamie, he was funny and yuh I like this series
. I heard so much hype around this series and I’m so glad I finally got my hands on it because I just flew right through it.

Hardin Scott has super powers

That ending... oh my hell, on to the next. ( please teachers cancel all your tests I️ need to read)

This book was all over the place. I was intrigued by the mystery involving the death of Mara's friends and how she was connected, but I felt like the content wasn't consistent and I remained confused for some of the book. There is intrigue but also some major what the heck is happening. I think it's shaky but interesting enough that some people will go on and read the rest of the series.

SpoilerI will say that I don't enjoy the idea of "powers" and where the heck did they come from?! This better not be some kind of X-Men deal. I'm just not into it. I enjoy the hallucinations and ptsd aspect more than the powers.

I didn't remember Noah being such a controlling guy...ew. I really like the plot tho, it's just as good as I remember.

That was a great book! Very interesting, and it kept up the adventures and mysteries, and it was good. The ending was so good I can't wait until the next book!

I could not stand Noah and wouldn't tolerate a guy disrespecting me as much as he disrespected Mara and controlled her. That was the only weakness of the story. Regardless, I loved the plot.

3.5⭐

This book is about a girl named Mara Dyer. She moved to a new town after she got a traumatic tragedy that made her 3 bestfriends died. She thought she would feel better. But she's not. A lot of unlogical tragedy and hallucinations start haunting her. With the help of Noah Shaw, she started to discover the truth that happened to her.

I enjoyed this book more than i expected. This book was easy to read and not too descriptive so i think you will not get bored. I also enjoy supernatural things that happened, it thrilled me at night!
