This book was so gripping! I love Mara's story and I love Noah. This story is full of twists and turns. The ending of the book was such a cliffhanger that I immediately asked my friend to borrow the second book. I can't wait to read the second book and for the third book to come out!
I have to say that I absolutely loved this book. It kept me guessing from the first few pages. I kept wondering if it was going to turn out to be something paranormal or if she really was just crazy. I really didn't know until it was almost over. And then the ending…TWIST!! It was an amazing book with wonderful characters.

Really enjoyed this! Very interesting plot, fun, fast-paced, well-written, though at times I'd have to reread passages because things changed so quickly. But ahhh the character tropes. Featuring: The Beautiful Reckless Boy, The Angry Broken Girl, The Token Quirky Best Friend, The Precocious Little Boy, etc. It's like every character was picked from a list.
But what a gripping story! I could not stop reading. And best believe, as soon as I turned the last page, I went to get the next book in the series.

Holy hell I was obsessed with this book after the first chapter. Every page was just as addicting as the last. I did not anticipate what was going to happen and I love that. Also the characters are rather splendid, but just holy shit. The writing of this was easy to get through as well since it feels like Mara is narrating a bigger story to me.

3.5 stars rounded up to 4. Some of this story was silly and sappy and had me rolling my eyes. But some of it was incredibly intriguing and I didn't want to put it down. I've seen a lot of reviews comparing it to Twilight...I can see that for some of it, but overall this book was significantly better. Mara isn't perfect, but some of her actions can be explained by being a teenager. I enjoyed it enough to want to read the sequel!
