I loved the way this book was structured - it was an interesting concept having chapters to gain an insight into the lives of somewhat random characters or a brief history on some events. However I found the actual love story a bit weak and cringey. It’s a good if you are in the mood for a quick, lighthearted love story.
Maybe there is such thing as “love at first sight”…

It was a cute book. I found it hard though to connect to the characters as much as I do with other books. I loved the multiple povs with Natasha and Daniel; but also with seemingly random and unimportant people for a page or two. It shows how much a small interaction can change someone’s day or life. Going back to me not connecting with characters, I think it’s because of how the author showed their personality traits and beliefs; Natasha specifically. It’s said she doesn’t believe in love or fate or things happening for a reason. Instead she believes that everything has a scientific explanation. And that is extremely valid, but she brings it up in every conversation and every time the book switches to her POV. So it gets really annoying and repetitive and makes it hard to like her character. The only other main thing that made me rate this book 3.5 was the idea of fate. Daniel believes in fate and it’s obvious the author does too, or at least favors it in this book. But the amount of fate and things happening for a deeper reason in this book make it really unrealistic. So many small things that the average person won’t remember some how become these big events in the end. And yeah, sometimes these seemingly coincidental events happen, but in the book these events happened more in one day than probably an average persons lifetime, making it really hard to relate to the story and making it less believable

Audiobook 8 hours 3 minutes - A lot of this book felt repetitive, like the same things were being said over and over, and a bit too slow-paced, but I think this is partially down to the fact I listened as an audiobook. I absolutely loved the scenes narrated by the external narrator - I thought they were a unique piece of storytelling and well-written, letting you see into the life of side characters that you'd never give much thought to otherwise. I liked the ending, that it wasn't happy but it wasn't necessarily sad either, it felt realistic. There were other parts that felt a bit too unrealistic though. The book dealt with coincidence vs. fate, but having the same interviewer/lawyer? That seemed too far-fetched by far. However, all in all, this book was enjoyable to read, just not the best thing in the world.

"the sun is also a star, and it's our most important one. that alone should be worth a poem or two."

I loved this book. I love how the audiobook book had 3 different narrators. It was super helpful since the book had tons of perspectives.

I love how this story wen off and gave perspectives of people who the main characters interacted with.

I live how this story showed how wavy one impacts each other even if the interaction is small.

I love the theory throughout the story. I probably won’t stop thinking about this story for a while. The impact we have on each other, multiverses, dark matter and so much else.

I love how beyond reason Natasha and Daniel seem to be forced together in a series of perfect coincidences.

Can you tell, I loved this story?
