Read this super fast, and I really liked Mark and Asher as characters! But something didn’t quite click for me like other romances I’ve read from Sarina Bowen. Still, it was enjoyable.

this book was fun! I liked the first 30% or so most with all the banter and bickering between Mark and Asher. they had great chemistry, but it did honestly get a little boring throughout a lot of the middle with how happy and perfect everything was going. also annoying that we never actually saw any part of the spreadsheet!!! I like how it ended though, and also how often the next chapter continued a scene that I was kinda expecting to have a fade to black ending. I also loved that Mark was a young single dad and the scenes with Rosie were adorable, along with how Asher interacted with her.

I would highly recommend listening to the audiobook to read this since it has some of my favourite narrators that are really great!!

This is sitting between a 3 and a 4 for me. I liked it, there was nothing really wrong with it, the characters were typical of a MM romance like this and so was the plot. I got a little bit bored and wanted to just skim through the last half. I usually love MM romances and I’m no stranger to them, but lately I’ve been finding myself tired of them all following the same patterns. There needs to be something extra about the story for me to get really into it, some element that pushes it beyond the typical work in the genre, and there wasn’t here, but that doesn’t mean I didn’t like it. I might also just be in a mood. Though no MM romance of Sarina Bowen’s will ever hit as hard as Wesmie in Him and Us.

The Best Men was so mich fun. I loved mark big also Asher. Sarina Bowen and Lauren Blakely did a fantastic job! ♥️

This story was really funny! The characters are a ton of fun, I'm sad it's over. I could read so much more of their banter and life.

The Best Men: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★

Sarina Bowen, Lauren Blakely

Mark Banks is an adventure every single day.

When Mark’s sister is marrying Asher’s best friend and they’re in charge, a week in Miami is more than enough to explore the attraction that's been brewing between them for so long.

Tropes:
- Forced Proximity
- Friends(ish) to lovers
- Single/newly divorced dad

This was SO funny and so good. I loved their romance. It was hysterical and adorable and just the perfect recipe for a good time. So much fun!!

These two are so different and it’s obvious to everyone. Newly divorced dad Mark is upright and calculating and wears polo shirts and doesn’t ever have a hair out of place. Asher’s hair on the other hand is floofy just like the rest of him—carefree, go with the flow, doesn’t care about anything. They can’t stand each other (kinda) but there’s attraction simmering below. Asher was so perfect for Mark, helping him let loose and enjoy life a little bit. Mark was perfect for Asher in that he gave him a sense of being grounded and being worthy and being a good boyfriend who was capable of stability. I just adored the way they balanced each other out so well and both brought the best out in one another.

I loved their flirting and their love and everything about them. The little touches, the communication, and Asher/Rosie were just precious. And you could really feel the tenderness and angst in all the moments which was just *chefs kiss*.

This was truly just the most fun read and I want more softer, lighthearted, FUN books just like this!!
