Reading Ruskin Bond again filled me with Nostalgia about my school days and early teens years. That was when I initially read Ruskin Bonds stories and I noted them for their heartwarming and feel good nature then. Every story in this book also shares the same characteristics. After reading this collection of short stories I would say each one of them then can be called a good work of fiction. Some are really excellent works.
So if you just want a book to read to relax after a long day of work, or you're just starting to read after a long break this can make you fall in love with reading again. But beware the author can make you really miss the good old carefree school days and sweet childhood.

This is a collection of brief and enjoyable stories written by Ruskin Bond, all revolving around trains. It was a quick and fun read.

The book consists 14 stories with the train being the Central character. Some stories will make you laugh, others will make you to reminisce, while some will make you sad & wanting for more.
Although there are some repetitions but I thoroughly enjoyed reading the stories that took me back to the carefree India.
