“I look at all of my dreams and nightmares distilled into one man-shaped shape. All the love and hate I have in my heart plus one fucking bunny.” 🐇
What the actual fuck was this book. I loved it, I loathed it, I haven’t stopped thinking about it. I’m itching to re-watch Heathers.
A dark academia fever dream that feels like satire. bunny, please talk to me about this book!

It feels so difficult to rate this book; but I read it really quickly, it kept me entertained, then intrigued, then confused and is now sending me down a rabbit hole of theories. And I think that’s a sign of a damn good book, but I know this isn’t for everyone.
Culty vibe + satirical view of (excessive) girlhood + unhinged woman trope + magical realism aspects + dark academia + creepy/sinister vibes = Bunny
This book awakened the young girl in me who loved Melanie Martinez.

This is a really weird book, I can't put it in a particular genre but I will say whoever did the marketing for it did a great job in pinning down the kind of other media to compare it to (in terms of Heathers, as I've not read The Vegetarian yet but from what I've heard it fits). There are also touches of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland throughout.
I will say there are trigger warnings for drugs, some gory moments, toxicity in female friendships.
