Maybe 2.5 stars? Just like anthologies, this book is difficult to rate. However, there were only a few poems that really stood out to me as amazing, and the rest were mediocre at best. I didn’t understand why he switched to regular prose for 15 pages and then back to poems at the end. It just didn’t seem cohesive at all... and it was repetitive in many of the worst places. Not a terrible read, just convoluted.
