 My Review:

Dragos Goes to Washington is the next installment in the series and this is where politics in the realm of the Elder Races has been escalated. There are rumors of the Vice President of the United States having a evil plan to destroy the Elder Races and any trust the government and the people have built with Dragos and his people over the years. And there is the added benefit of Pia wanted to have another child and Dragos is more than willing to do whatever it takes to give Pia what she desires. This is one of the novellas that we see more depth in their relationship. I was hoping we would get a bit more with Peanut to be honest. But honestly I adored this book in every way. Political intrigue is one of my favorite things in a book and it was beyond fascinating. I was so fascinated to see where this author was going serial plot wise. I do know how it kinda ends though, so I am very fascinated to see how Dragos and Pia get to their final place. But man this baby is going to cause some drama, I just know it. I hope its a girl though. I guess we shall find out in the next installment.

Overall I found Dragos Goes to Washington to be a true delight of a novella and Dragos and Pia are proving why they are becoming one of my favorite couples. I can't wait to see more of this world.

Solid 4 stars. What a great addition to the series. I really enjoyed the action, mystery, romance and sexy stuff in this book!

Some favorite quotes:

"Pure, languorous delight had her stretching in a luxurious, undulating roll.
Thank the gods for a thorough, detail-oriented husband who was competitive even with himself."

“How many thrusts was that?” His voice had gone guttural. It took a moment for the meaning of his words to sink in.

As wrecked she was, she burst out laughing weakly.

“See? It’s like I told you—I get so busy with my own pows, I don’t pay any attention to what you’re doing."

Breathing hard, he pulled out. Before she had a chance to make a disappointed face at his abrupt departure, he took her in a strong, unbreakable grip and flipped her so that she lay on her stomach, with the pillow still underneath her hips.

☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
“Fuck that,” he hissed.

Aw, he said the sweetest things to her.

4 stars - It was really good

After the destructive events of the last year, the Elder Race leaders are headed to Washington DC to foster peace with humankind. Dragos is not known for his diplomacy skills, but with Pia at his side he tries, even with the mating instinct interfering. But when the human spouse of a prominent politician winds up dead, the Dragos has to race against time to prove it wasn’t an Elder Race murder.

This may be a short novella but a lot happened in it. To start with, this novella really shows how far Pia and Dragos have come in their relationship, especially after Dragos’ injury. They really are a team now and are not just focused on the Wyr, but also their family and what they want. I really like that we continue to see these two grow as a couple and that they are actually planning their families future, not just taking things as they come along.

The Elder Race leaders meeting in Washington DC to discuss all the changes that have recently happened is a big deal. I like that we are finally seeing the leaders together for once and that there is some reuniting with old friends. Dragos in politician mode was amusing and surprising in that he kept calmly explaining the situation and didn’t just yell and make demands. Dragos has really changed a lot since meeting Pia but I still like when we see him revert to the old dragon that he is.

Overall, this was another enjoyable novella and I am really interested in seeing what happens next for Dragos and Pia now that their situation is changing again.

A nice little story featuring Dragos, Pia and the political scenario in the Elder Races Series. Entertaining and funny but it has to be read in order because it is going to change many things from now on.

THANKS TO NETGALLEY AND TEDDY HARRISON LLC FOR THE PREVIEW!

I do love this dysfunctional family. Pia and Drago's are by far my favourite pairing of this series and i am so glad to see more of them.

Some things you can see straight away like why Pia has a rash and the mystery part of the novella is solved pretty quickly. The main part of the book is sex and why they are having sex and confirming to each other how much they love each other.

Glad to see a little bit of Liam in the beginning and to see how much more he has grown.

I look forward to reading more of this family.
