Hated the audiobook narration. Okay story - should have been a short story.

I love the Old Kingdom, and this prequel tale drew me in right from the start. Still not sure how to feel about Mogget!

I loved seeing Sabriel’s parents and learning more about Wyverley. Also this one starts out really strong right off the bat.

I love the Old Kingdom so much, and this is a very worthy addition. An immediate prequel to Sabriel, and although it makes me a bit sad, it's very worth reading if you love the series.

A satisfying little adventure. I didn't find this groundbreaking or anything, but enjoyed the vibe and getting some additional background on this point in the timeline.
