very impressed by mr stevensons writing. I got so into this I lost a good amount of time without even noticing. the story is dark and horrific, and I love how it extends to the descriptions of the surroundings. very interested to keep reading more of his works. also is anyone gonna do a queer analysis of this or am I gonna have to do it myself?

I think I need to tackle Poe again to help me get myself back into the 1800's writing style.

This was an incredibly interesting read, but my issue is that the plot could've been so much better! Stevenson should've taken advantage of the Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde further and have them do other gruesome stuff. You should definitely pick this up if you're looking for a good gothic classic.
