This book (my favourite book of the series) was more focused on Cormoran and Robin than previous books in this series.
Robin's emotional storyline is forefront.
Robin's disastrous toxic marriage imploding
<spoiler alert>
and Robin finally having the courage to leave. That bleak sense of despair she felt. The exhaustion and the crippling panic attacks I found heart wrenching to read. Somehow I don't think the husband is going to go away quietly.
The murder investigation is a complicated storyline, I found it hard to follow at times.
A slow read at times then a rush of action.
This one is really character driven.
I'm starting on the next in this fantastic series 'Troubled Blood' right now.
