What a great short story. It's only around 150 pages but it was fantastic. Just the type of mystery I like. It reminds me of the old movie and tv show The Ghost and Mrs. Muir. But here the main female character is modern day paranormal investigator Bryn Moody. With short, spiky hair, and a "frankenscar" on her face from an accident. They think there is a pirate ghost in the house. Yes there is (well, sort of) and he wants something.

This is the first book in the Moody Mystery series. And if the next one is as good as this one, I'm all in. Plus there are recipes in the back of the book. I might have to try them. Of course, I will try the "Bryn's Super Easy" recipes. The second book in the series is Moody & The Ghost - Batten Down.
