I’ve only read 1 other book from the Savage series. While I love epilogues, they’re one of my favorite parts of books because I get a deep dive into the lives of the characters after the book, consuming so many books about a group of people can be a little overwhelming.
That being said, I didn’t realize I was reading a book from the Savage universe until they mentioned the character from the only other book from the series that I read. Which is cool because it seems like all the books can be read as standalones.

Anyways, I really liked this one. Julian and Sera both have dark histories that keep them from growing and loving themselves. They come together and it’s so beautiful

Okay, I know I say this every time, but I think these two are my new favorites of this author's couples! I sound like a broken record, but I swear each book just gets better. A bit more wild in one part, more tame in another, these characters just seem to reach in to my chest and access feelings in ways that other characters just don't. And in being so relate-able and flawed and ever growing and changing they wind their way into my thoughts and stay a while, and not every book I read can do that. When it all lines up and I'm fully invested there's nothing better than reading about two flawed humans finding their way across all odds and obstacles to their HEA, its just such a big sigh at the end, I wish they didn't have to go and I certainly hope we see more of Julien and Sera. These two have a lot of enviable attributes, but by far the best was Sera's sunny disposition, the perfect shield around her heart, scar tissue built a decent size wall there and it was going to take a lot to get in there, which is why once Julien did I was so happy, even knowing it was going to get rough when things came to light. The compassion and empathy that was just inherent in Sera was another enviable trait. She cared in a way that didn't come from being taught it just came out of her heart and I LOVED that about her. Julien's lucky he figured it out lol. Thoroughly enjoyed the Savage U crew and look forward to reading Beck and Lucia's story, hopefully we'll see some cameos too from this gang, I love when she shows us updates of our favorites in other books!

This book took me by surprise! I wasn't sure if i would continue with it in the beginning because Seraphina wasn't really doing it for me and i'm not really sure why but maybe because of how she was before Julien because the person she became after Julien i was here for. I also knew what the conflict was going to be from the start so i also wasn't looking forward to it but at the same time i didn't really knew how it would pan out. I also wasn't feeling it because i adored Julien since BLM so it's no surprise that the minimum thing would not go well with me ( i.g when someone would belittle Julien because of his cane and Seraphina would stand there and not tell people off and i get it. Julien has a mouth and could defend himself  and Sera is not used to stand up for herself let alone others but it still sucked, A lot, especially when we know what Julien thinks of himself and his situation. I guess overall in that aspect i expected more from Sera from the beginning but that was it, my expectations because it was clear Sera was the type to take bs from others and shut up until she wasn't anymore.

Julien is swoony, caring, protective, loyal and wise. I guess i wasn't expecting him to be this mature but i loved it. I just loved everything about him.
Sera grew into her own and she learned what was good and bad for her and despite it being difficult for her standing up for herself, she did it with dignity and with the thought that no one should take whatever the other person is giving and not fight for yourself. She did it and i was proud of her. She also accepted all of her but also Julien. Beautiful Story!
I loved their friendship and the meaning behind it and how it all came to be. I really loved seeing them being genuinely friends and lean on each other the way they did.

Now the bromance because i saw the book was almost done and i was a bit worried that we wouldn't have a resolution for Julien & Amir. I worried for something! Obviously i wanted the conversation to happen a bit early but honestly Jules wasn't in the place yet where he could. I'm so glad they are okay again and they talked  about their feelings. They have an amazing brotherhood. Marco seemed aloof throughout the series but he's a deep guy. He just chooses to be selective of people he lets in. I wonder if J. Wolf has plans for him. Hopefully we get his story someday.

Beckett is the best little brother. I can't wait for his story with Luciana!
I loved seeing the gang all together and isn't Elena just amazing? I loved her so much!
I just loved that she was a part of Julien pep talk in order to get Sera back. Their friendship is very heartwarming but all of them really support each other no matter what and i loved to see it.

Sera and Jules **swoon**

I’d encourage anyone to read this book. It’s got two strong characters who both deal with some dark times and help each other out. Throw in some secrets, lots of fun spicy scenes and a supporting cast of great characters and you’re bound to enjoy this love story.
