Okay so... I don't have much to say about this book. I didn't really enjoy it and I'm going to go ahead and say its my fault because I read it when I wasn't in the mood for it! I've been in a more adventure/fantasy mood so this wasn't fit for my "cravings".

I also went into this book thinking it'd be light and fluffy but not so much.. It did have some humour on it tho!

I didn't really enjoy the wayyyy to long and explicit "steamy" scenes and don't get me wrong I do love those scenes but not the way these ones were written.

I did feel for the characters tho, because they are both really endearing in my opinion, and I felt the most for January when she was reading her dad's letter (brought a tear to my eye ngl).

And I have a question... I'm a very romantic person but what is it with having to end all romance books with a proposal??? I just feel like it's so cliché by now!

Anyways, I do still recommend this book since it does have a lot of positive aspects about it

It's not a bad book, it's just not for me.

This is a total summer-comfort read. The enemies-to-lovers trope and them helping each other write their books was very cute. I was so here for the drama of January's dad and I really liked the cute romantic meetups the main characters had. Gus is such a book-boyfriend material and I love him with my full heart. This book was fantastic!

wow, very emotional story! I was upset/sad and euphoric throughout the book, truly a rollercoaster of emotions! Great book, I wish there was an epilogue!!!!!! I

I feel like uw could’ve enjoyed the book more if I could’ve read it in a quick amount of time. Life happens so I read a little here and there and it was difficult to jump back in each time.

I haven't had a book tug at my heartstrings like this in a long time. (insert "emotional damage" tiktok sound). Seriously so sweet, I think I could start it over again right away and still enjoy it just as much!
