This series keeps on getting better, and Ms Grafton's writing is going from strength to strength. This time around we get not only a great puzzle for Kinsey to solve - with some very humorous occurrences along the way - but we also learn more about Kinsey her self (same time as she does too).

Wasn't as fun, but the ending was kind of cool.

This is one of the best of the series...multiple stories running at the same time and you never are completely sure who the guilty party is. Although this is not the first time I've read this one, I do remember the shock the first time around finding out (like Kinsey) that she DID have family.

J is for Judgment features a faked suicide, a Ponzi scheme, a jilted wife, and the appearance of some long lost family members. For all that's covered in this story, the book is awfully short. The conclusion was very rushed and a little disappointing and I was frustrated with the number of plot holes. Not my favorite but I'm already looking forward to reading the next book in the series regardless.

Not as action-packed or suspenseful, but still an enjoyable read!

I really like Kinsey Milhone. She makes me laugh out loud. In this book we're introduced to some background information about her family. Sue Grafton doesn't include too many characters in the novel, which is always helpful when I want a mystery novel but don't want to think too much!
