Sparked my interest for more. I liked the balance between broad words and sentences combined with specificity. Esoteric and spiritual leanings from what Ive heard and from Ive gathered it is truly woven into his fabric as a writer.

Så våldsamt vackert och hela tiden en aning bortom min fulla förståelse. Bild efter bild dyker upp i huvudet när jag läser (högt för mig själv) och jag känner att jag behöver åldras, leva länge och fullständigt för att verkligen förstå vad de betyder. Det är så fint, favoriterna är nog hans haikudikter och dikten Midvinter:

Ett blått sken
strömmar från mina kläder.
Midvinter.
Klirrande tamburiner av is.
Jag sluter ögonen.
Det finns en ljudlös värld
det finns en spricka
där döda
smugglas över gränsen.

Så vackert att jag vill gråta!

Tranströmer's poetry feels personal on a level I can't appreciate. I like some of his turns of phrase ("a tremendous insult is slipped over your head like a sack"), but the poems are short to the point of feeling incomplete.
