Really quite enjoyed this. Kind of like the Dresden Files, but vampires instead of wizards.

This was a really entertaining book. I'm looking for the 2nd book that I've downloaded from audible.

This book was actually an OK read once I got over the fact that the author doesn't use quotation marks.

The dash is not a good substitute!

Clever concept. Zombie killing vampire wrestles with own bloody needs and keeping various underworld factions from killing him where it don't grow back. Complicated twists and some VERY bad things happen.
Definitely interested in trying book two.

Th story tended towards the gross, but the writing was great. I'll try some others by Charlie ...

A fun read - brisk pace, crisp, edgy dialogue and a serviceable story with some pretty cool twists on vampire/zombie mythologies.

Very good book.

A unique take on the whole vampire fiction. Nothing sparkly here.

Really like the first person narration.

On to book 2.

Not a bad read. It drug a little in the middle, and I cared more for the character than the story. I will read more of the series to spend more time with Joe Pitt.
