One of the most imaginative books I’ve ever read outside of the expected genres that promise imaginative storytelling (fantasy, sci-fi, etc.) I was hooked!

The pace of this book was way too slow and meandering for me. A lot of it also seemed unnecessary. The plot was like 95% going downhill then all of a sudden there's 10 pages left and everything is better. I couldn't feel for the characters enough, and it was frustrating to continually read/watch them not get the help they needed. I enjoyed A Tale for the Time Being much much more.
