Well, well, well. I literally searched up “uplifting and refreshing books” in hopes of finding something light to enjoy during these (rare) sunny days in April, and ended up with this one, which, I’d admit, ended up being not that light at all.

This book felt… real. It’s real. Really not that surprising that the author himself mentioned that a lot of what happened in the book also happened in his life, and that writing it out was a way of confronting and processes it - and boy, it did feel like it.

I guess you could say that love (or maybe, “love”)  existed between the protagonist and each of the characters, albeit in some form or another. Some might even make you uncomfortable. Perhaps to love is to have someone, something, and the time you’ve spent together, mean something - if anything at all. Whatever/whoever have meant the “most” to you at some point might not even mean that much down the road, but some might not feel like they mean that much in the moment, will somehow never leave your thoughts. Maybe the vastness and depth of meaning will only be revealed through time.
