This book was refreshing. I’m glad that Addison is strong in that she stands up for herself and she knows her worth but isn’t afraid to be vulnerable. She didn’t let her sister undermine or manipulate her feelings. Or her mother. And I’m glad her father was strong enough to go against the mother’s wishes to celebrate the pregnancy and treasure the sister despite every wrongdoing!!
To me, Addison was inspiring because she’s in the business world. She enters non-profit work and it’s just great seeing her so qualified and thriving. She’s strong, courageous and has her stuff together despite everything that happens. And what I mean by “have her stuff together” is that she has the tenacity to continue to run in the mornings, clean out boxes full of stuff, thrive in her job while dealing with everything.

Really cute quick read that I’d say is good to get out of a reading slump. I expected more spicy smut it was a little too flowery for me.

Mark is a freaking jerk. And so is Addisons sister like wtf. Her mom is horrible too! Addison is a saint!!! She put up with things so beautifully. Even though it hurt, she wasn't hateful, but she was honest and set her boundaries. Poor Dennis. I'm so glad he was there for Addison and they ended up together. There were some misunderstandings, but thanks to Phae, they worked out well! Addison will do so well with his family. I adore his mom and his dad!! I just didn't like the pacing. Felt really slow. And took me forever to finish
