It took me awhile to get into this book, but then I loved it :)

“There’s nothing you can sacrifice that's worthy of what God gives us freely.”

Wow I loved this book. It gave me all the feels, and while the romance was good, the growth the characters experienced made it such a great read. This book came very close to “A Different Blue” level for me. I cannot compliment it enough. Both main characters had depth and struggles and realness. I can’t believe I didn’t pick this one up before now.

It’s a romance and so much more.

“You don't honor God with your life by changing your
personality and tossing out everything that is unique about who you are. You honor Him by offering those very gifts back to Him.”

There are some profound truths in this book, and I really appreciated how fluidly the author integrated the faith (or lack of at times) of the characters. Many Christian fiction novels are too on the nose or over the top with faith aspects, but this was so well done. It wasn’t weird or awkward, and it was so beautiful without being blunt. I have so much respect for how the author wrote this story, and I’m looking forward to reading the next book.

I wasn't sure at first if I would be able to relate to the heroine--a fictional YouTube celebrity from "Makeup Matters with Molly." But she captured my fascination and I had to keep reading.

I appreciated the unique setting and the deep personal development throughout the character arc. Fans of Famous for a Living by Melissa Ferguson will love All That Really Matters--and vice versa!

This was such a good story! I don’t read a whole lot of contemporary books but I do get the desire to read a good Christian contemporary book every once in a while and Nicole Deese definitely knows how to write a good one!

This one had a really good message. I enjoyed the faith content and the character growth.
I loved Molly and Silas! Molly was a great heroine and I really, really liked Silas from the start!
I enjoyed getting to know the teens in the program too.

The romance was so sweet! I loved Molly and Silas together! I love that their story is more slow burn. I also really loved that the romance wasn’t the main focus of the story. While I loved it, I really enjoyed that there was a lot more going on in the story too.

It was interesting getting the POV of a social media influencer. I wasn’t sure how much I’d like that since it’s not my favorite trope but I really enjoyed it in this one!

I got emotional quite a few times. I also smiled and laughed.💗

It touches on some deeper topics so I’d recommend to late teens and up.

In conclusion, I really enjoyed this one! It was beautifully written! I can’t wait to read Miles and Val’s story!!
I listened to it on audiobook and the narration was good too!

All That Really Matters is a heartwarming story of self-discovery and, as the title states, finding what really matters. Molly McKenzie was at the top of her game as a fashion vlogger with over 600,000 subscribers, a manager, and a very comfortable lifestyle. But when she was told to reach one million subscribers in just three months, and to find a human-interest cause that would help her brand, Molly’s life began to change along with her priorities.

I loved the way this story was written. I’m all about finding the path God wants for us and making the choice to walk it, even if it takes us from the comfortable path we were already walking. At first, Molly’s choice to volunteer at The Bridge, a transitional home for youths who had aged out of foster care, was purely selfish. But when she met the kids living there, something stirred inside of her, and she found herself at The Bridge more often than she needed to be.

And then, of course, there was Silas Whittaker, director of the youth home. A man of faith and integrity who had no use for a woman who spent her days dressing up and talking on social media outlets about how to make yourself look better. But then, God always has a way of getting His way.

The characters in this story were perfect including sweet Gloria—or Glo, as she was lovingly called—the receptionist, cook, and so much more. The youth all had their own personalities and problems and dealt with them in their own way. But you could tell they all respected the place they lived and those who worked with them. Anyone who showed disrespect or broke any of the rules were dealt with, but not harshly.

I also loved how Nicole Deese used the kids and their sessions at The Bridge to help Molly find her truth. It wasn’t just a one-way street, and Molly was changed by the end of the book in the best way possible. Oh, and maybe a bit of romance was thrown in for good measure, a sweet romance that didn’t seem forced but rather a gradual transition.

I could go on and on about this story, but I don’t want to give everything away. What I will say is read it. You won’t be disappointed.
