Perhaps a 3.5 stars. This book had a pretty decent amount of pages and I felt like not much happened. Very disappointed, but still enjoyed it.
I wanted to give this 5 stars so badly but I couldn't because I didn't necessarily enjoy the direction the plot took with Lily. It certainly grew on me and at the end I found myself enjoying reading about her and her story but it just was not what I was expecting and at first I was thrown.
This book was still excellent and had absolutely stellar writing; a great book for sure and I cannot wait to read the last book.

I might change this to a 3.5. The beginning was slow but I really enjoyed the second half of the book, especially Lily’s story.
