What I learned from this book:
Sometimes it’s OK to idle in bed a few more minutes, and yes, there’s no use in running after the bus. There will be another one.

Not as much of a “how” as an “ode to”. Not very interesting

I didn't like this quite as much as The Freedom Manifesto, which to me seemed better written and thought out, as well as more ambitious overall. But I still loved How to Be Idle for Hodgkinson's equally valuable wisdom and his insight into the ills of contemporary Western life and how these might be rectified by slowing down, chilling out and enjoying simple pleasures. Indispensable.

An interesting concept, but can't take this length of treatment. I lost interest after a few chapters. Maybe I'm just too idle though. :D

bagian-bagian awal cukup seru, tapi mulai ke tengah makin terasa dipaksakan ... dan aku berhenti membacanya di tengah. jujur kecewa!

Thinks homesless people are just "wanderers" that want to stay out of debt...the author clearly has no idea why people are actually homeless. Do not read.

Interesting book that asks us to stop and think about how we spend our precious time.
