i liked it a lot! loved the whole rockstarish vibe and it kind of reminded me of John Mayer if it makes sense?! I tried to ignored the whole cheating and emotionally cheating here and the competition between brothers because this kind of drama is not for me but I adored Asher and his grandma.

My favorite book in the series so far!!! Izzy and Asher's relationship pulled at the heartstrings with the angst, drama and fear that they endured in trying to find their HEA while not wanting to hurt the one person they truly cared about. The heartache that Izzy discovered in her search to uncover the events that unfolded in her personal life brought tears to my eyes. This book was gripping, emotional and such a beautiful love story that you'll be memorized from the very first chapter. Good luck trying to put this book down!

When I read the book description and saw that gorgeous cover of ‘Dangerous Games’, I knew this was a book I wanted to read. So I requested an ARC and was super excited when I got approved. And I started reading as soon as possible. ‘Dangerous Games’ is my first book by T.K. Leigh.

Before diving into ‘Dangerous Games’ I read the novella ‘Mind Games’. The first meeting between Asher and Izzy in Vegas after ten years can be read in the novella ‘Mind Games’. Although ‘Dangerous Games’ continues where ‘Mind Games’ ended, it can easily be read as a standalone.

In ‘Dangerous Games’ we meet Izzy. Izzy has had a thing for the handsome and very talented musician Asher York for a very long time. But she always has been able to ignore her feelings because he was her friend.. and not unimportantly.. her ex-fiancés brother. Now she hasn’t seen Asher in almost ten years, but when she unexpectedly sees him again it seems to be fate. But things are still very complicated and Asher is still the one guy she isn’t supposed to want.

From the moment I started reading ‘Dangerous Games’ I fell in love with the two main characters Izzy and Asher. These characters are just perfect for each other. Izzy is a nurse, as a fellow nurse I obviously couldn’t not love her, and Asher is this gifted musician. And they always shared a special bond with each other. And boy was T.K. Leigh able to make me love them! But there was one little tiny problem.. Izzy was engaged to Asher’s brother.

The bond between Asher and Izzy was definitely something else. It was pure and beautiful and made me want to cry! It was just so good! But life is super complicated at times, and especially for Asher and Izzy. So instead of being able to be with each other, they were never able to give in to their feelings. And I struggled right along with them.

At times it frustrated me how Asher and Izzy always seemed to want to make everyone happy, except themselves. But it fitted the story and kept me sitting on the edge of my seat unable to stop reading. Their bond was something else, and I loved how the author was able to make me love these characters.

The moments where Asher wrote his music where my absolute favorite, and totally made me swoon! That guy really knows how to speak from his heart, and I totally have a crush on that guy!! ( Don’t tell my husband!!)

This book was written through both Asher and Izzy’s point of views and it made the read that much better. I also loved getting to read little bits about Izzy’s friends. There are stories there, I’d definitely like to read more about.

Yes. ‘Dangerous Games’ was a great story and I can’t wait to read more in this series.

This book...OMG. I had been jonesing for it the moment I found out that it was in fact happening. So naturally, when I was able to get my greedy little paws on it I pounced. I don't know how Mrs. Leigh manages it but each and every book gets better than the last.

This story was a build-up from years of angsty forbidden love between Asher and Izzy. The story had me by my imaginary balls and forced me to read every last word in one sitting. It was brilliant. I love the chemistry and love between the two. It was beautifully written and straight amazing.

Thank you for another amazing story.

Forbidden/Second Chance Romance
This story ties together two of my favorite genres. There have been glimpses of this budding romance throughout the series. There are many secrets revealed in this one that I didn't see coming. I have to admit I wanted to thump Izzy in the forehead on numerous occasions. As always T. K. gives you all the feels. She writes great characters with dynamic personalities. Asher is totally swoon-worthy. I am in love with the Grandmother she is seriously funny. She needs her own RomCom. The author has added interesting suspense elements to this story. The flow was a little slow in places which is why I gave it 4 stars. I recommend this book to anyone with a soft spot for musicians. I am looking forward to the next book. I think that there will be even more back story.

I received an advanced copy of this book with the promise of an honest review.

TK has been teasing us with his and Izzy's story for a while now and in this book we finally get the story we have been waiting for!

*sigh*

Asher. Oh Asher Asher Asher. I loved him so much! He's been holding on to his love for Izzy for a VERY long time and when they were in Vegas he was given a little taste of how wonderful things could be between them. But then they were interrupted and Izzy walked away with a second glance.

Now it's a year later and the two of them haven't seen each other since Vegas. But when Jessie (Izzy's ex and Asher's brother!) comes to Izzy and asks for her help, she finds herself face to face with the guy that she can't seem to forget.

There's no denying that Izzy and Asher have amazing chemistry, but there is a lot of history between them and a resolution to their feelings does not come easily. When they are alone and in their own little world, Izzy and Asher are just two best friends who also happen to be in love (even if they don't realize it). But once they are faced with the real world, too many things are in the way. It's up to them, especially Izzy, to decide not only what they want, but what the need.

Whew. The angst in this book. The angst is VERY high and you will feel all of it. So be prepared!
