This starts off so slow but once it picks up it really gets going in a way i ended up enjoying. There are some parts that don’t fully make sense and i had to go back a forth to figure out but overall enjoyable.

3.5 rounded up I wanted to love it but it didn’t really hold my attention. Did like the last quarter of the book

This book was hard to get into. I didn’t find myself super interested in the story until about 60-75% of the way through. If I was a DNF girly, this probably would have been a DNF book. It got better toward the end though so I’m happy I powered through.

I loved this book. I was able to read the ARC from a bookstore owner. I can’t wait for the HBO series. I hope there is a sequel book to follow. I wish I was able to receive ARC books myself. Mysteries seem to be my favorite which is probably why I loved this so much. I thought I had it figured out, but to my surprise it didn’t end the way I thought. The ending kind of left me wondering what’s next. The title fits the book to me. The woman was a member of the group.
