Not sure I loved the writing style here but I found the plot to be quite gripping. Reminded me of As Easy as Falling Off the Face of the Earth but with a more compelling story,
This one won't be out until May, but add it to your wishlist. An unbelievable look at coincidence, fate, destiny, and crossing paths, you won't be able to put it down.
The connections of the characters and their point of view made me enjoy this book, but also have reservations of the characters.
I did tear toward the end of the book as I didn't realize how invested I was of Riddle. In a sense I am sure Sam and Emily were a focus of the story but Riddle seemed to make and leave the most impression on me.
The dust jacket did not explain much about the book which intrigued me. In a sense I feel like I do not know how to explain the book, until someone reads it.
My second book from Holy Goldberg Sloan and want to read more!

This book is a classic feel good story. Even though, it had christian values mixed in, the author did not shove it down anyones throat. It was a variety of everything: self-discovery, romance, mystery, adventure, etc.
This was a heart wrenching story that had me in tears. I was so torn by the horrible conditions these kids had to live in. Being a lover and advocate for children, it breaks my heart to know that there are children living like this.
Aside from the amazingly written plot, the characters were beautifully and realistically captured through the writing. They were well-developed and all but one of the children were lovable. And more importantly, there was character development.
An amazing read and I can’t wait to read more from the author.

Itkin, nauroin, haukoin henkeäni ja itkin vähän lisää. Maailma on epäreilu, maailma on ihana.
How have more people not read this book? It's a beautiful read with so much mainstream appeal, I'm shocked that it isn't more popular. This book is not for the skeptics. This book is for the dreamers and the idealists among us. Others have compared it to a fairy tale, and I wouldn't say it's far off. My only complaint is with the length of the survival storyline, but overall, what a beautiful, striking read. I can't wait to share it with my friends.
