A very enjoyable holiday rom com. Good characters. Writing is good. Light and fluffy

This was so good!!! Honestly hard to believe this is a debut novel. The writing was so good, the moments of levity perfectly timed. And the references that I think so many people in their 30s can relate to help to make the story come alive. When I said I need this to be made as a Christmas movie… I mean I *need* it!

I really, really enjoyed this. Found family, the holiday season, just the right amount of romance, and a group of close, realistic best friends.
It's a Christmas themed book that's actually not majorly Christmassy. The flashback sections to past Christmases had the potential to be extremely cheesy, but Becca wrote them in a way that gave insight and heart to the characters.
As a Boston girl I loved that it opens at Boston College and that the first ever meeting of the Christmas Orphans Club involves eating at Lower Dining Hall - I could picture it all.
Thanks to NetGalley for my review copy!

I loved this book! 4.5 ⭐️’s for sure! I love chosen/found family books and exploring what it looks like to grow up, grow apart and ultimately choose one another again! It was funny, full of millennial throw backs and references to all my favorite music and shows growing up! A great Christmas read!

Festive story with elite dual narration, flashbacks, found family, romance and great friendships.
This wasn’t for me. I didn’t love the characters.
