Good for light reading. Also a short read. I could not get Mozart's "Rondo All Turca" out of my head while I read, so thanks for that HIMYM.
Ties right in with the show. I read this in less than two hours.
funny but the fact that the book was finished before the tv show was notable... the humour of the show was captured wonderfully. my favourite play would have to be "the girl" even if it is not quite so accurate.
It was as ridiculous as I expected. Had me laughing pretty hard on my lunch break. For the length of it though, I wish it was cheaper. I read it in about an 1.5 hours.
I liked it better than The Bro Code. 98% of the plays are crazy, but I was actually able to pick up a line or two from this one. But I think you have to watch the series to get some of the references . (Ted as Billy Idol. :) )

Back when How I meet your mother was hugely popular, I watched the show. Though to be honest I don't think I watched every season..anyway..somewhere along those lines I ended up buying a copy of this book. I think the only reason I brought was cause I like books that have a screen adaptation.
I am curious to know if any man has attempted anything from this playbook?
