oh how I love baru’s drastically different internal voice every book. too much to love. I will forever be obsessed with how tain hu and suit are described and characterized. give me the next one seth—but take as long as you need.

seth dickinson you've done it again. i love me sjur and mara and you've done it again with baru. holy fuck. there's so many paralells between baru and mara and so many between tain hu and sjur. but more than anything i'm just. so in love with everything that happened. special shoutout to xate yawa, my straightest shooter, who is the love of my life. i love you problematic old women who fuck. another shoutout to aminata, the love of my life even greater than xate yawa. anyway there's so many good characters. prince hill trio i love you, baru and tain hu i love you, aminata and iraji i love you, there's so many good characters and they might be awful but i adore them. except for farrier and cosgrad, those two can eat a brick in 4k.
