Ronan Murphy is mysterious, kind and wants justice to those who deserve it. After returning home from the military on an honorable discharge, Ronan and his two brothers start up Murphy Intelligence and Security. Julia Berenger is a strong, independent, responsible, caring mother figure to her sister, Elise. She is always taking care of others and when her sister goes missing she knows that she didn’t go willingly. She believes that she was kidnapped and she is determined to find her at any cost. After being hired by Julia’s grandfather, Ronan and Julia end up crossing paths and learn they are both looking for her sister. Ronan and Julia have great chemistry. You can tell that they push away any kind of feelings they may have for one another. If it’s lust or something else, they try hard not to give in, but when push comes to shove, they cannot stay away and cross a line that they cannot turn back from.

This book what fantastic. This was kind of insta-love, but it by no means actually felt like it. With just only knowing each other for two weeks they both felt so passionate about each other so early on. I didn’t want to put it down. I just had to know what was going to happen next. I was anxious at times and wanted to know what was going to happen next. I could not get enough and can’t wait to dive right in to book 2! Michelle St James is a fantastic writer. The detail and development of great relatable characters were fabulous. I felt like I was on my toes the entire read, just waking to see what was actually going to happen. No doubt this was a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ read from me.

Thank you to Michelle St. James for sending me this ARC eBook for an honest review.
