Sunshine and Jack - two opposite people both carrying baggage of their own found their way to each other in this short and steamy read with a guaranteed HEA. Stereotypical age-gap (om/yw), grumpy/sunshine short story, but comforting nonetheless as it sums up everything I look for in any romance book, a certainty that at the end, the couple will end up together, live their best lives, and free to love one another.
A quick, easy read of insta-love, the kind of story to read if you're looking for a safe bet when it comes to romance. No drama, very little character self doubt, with just enough plot and a sweet kind of spice.

This is my first book by this author and it won't be my last. It's also my first book in the multi author new series 'Hot H.E.A. Summer'. This was a short and sweet age gap love story. It is Jack and Sunshine's story. I loved this quick read the only thing I wish is that is was longer as I wanted more.
Jack is a mountain man, He has a sad past and likes to keep himself away from people, He is sweet, caring, kind, thoughtful and Grumpy. Sunshine is a painter, she has a sad past with her art, She is strong, smart, sassy and does not put up with any shit.

This was a quick sweet age gap read. Jack meets his brother-in-law's younger sister and falls head over heels in love with Sunshine. He thinks he is not worth it and tries to stay away, but Sunshine will not let that happen. The story was very quick but still had enough plot to keep you interested in how their relationship will develop.One downfall is, It did feel rushed a bit and more time would have worked better. However, this does not make the story not good as is. I recommend you take time to meet this couple. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
