Okay, I’m sold. The first two books were a bit of a commitment but I’m all in. Extremely fully imagined world, complex characters with intense relationships (my weakness), really interesting magical system, very compelling plot - will be reading the whole series

I felt so many emotions when I read this. The book begins with Feyre being the fox among chickens, where she schemes and plots and tears apart the Spring Court, after both Tamlin and Ianthe betrayed her. When Feyre is satisfied, she returns to the Night Court, where they have to deal with the after effects of the misadventure on Hybern. What follows is lots of war prep, alliances, feelings, and WAR. 

This was so good, I greatly enjoyed this story. I’m looking forward to more.

ACOWAR includes much more character development than the first two books in the series. I feel so much more connected to Cassian, Azriel, Mor, and the rest of the Night Court crew. I also don’t entirely hate Nesta anymore!

Tamlin’s characterization sent me on an emotional rollercoaster.
