This was a wonderful Christmas story! I received it as a Christmas gift and didn't realize that I was reading a Christmas themed book until after I'd started.

I am in awe of the writer, since I heard her speak a couple of years ago at a book festival. She's an amazing writer.

I went into the book biased, since I knew I loved the author's other work that I've read. I flew through the book, loving every moment, especially the ending. Wonderful!

I enjoyed this short Christmas story. Especially the ending. It was heartwarming and made me happy. I like stories that have hope and friendship in them. This one definitely does.

Quite a strange little story. I liked Tabetha, her character was very well developed for such a short book.

Cornelia Funke's writing never fails to enchant me. The eight stories in this collection are all of various lengths and not all are about Jacob or Fox, but they are all beautiful, magical, and make me want to reread all the Reckless books. I can't wait for the fourth book to come out!

Some short stories - set around Christmas, but honestly they don't feel THAT Christmassy - that are set in the Mirror World and the Reckless Series.
None of them had shocking or surprising events in them (if you know the books), but still nice. Also the drawings in this book are very beautiful!

(And apparently the German books has like 6 stories whereas the English version only has one, but it's still registerd here as the same book; so FYI I read the German one)
