The story was very slow and seems quite confusing at times. I wasn't a huge fan of those love triangle that was alluded to but hopefully the third book is better.

I feel like it was better than the first one in a sense that more happened. But it's still a lot of the characters just kinda whining about their situations in their head. I'm not a fan of the changing point of views either. I hate that in books! Yes it's nice to see what they are thinking, but the whole switching every chapter just got on my nerves! I almost wanted to read the whole book thru reading just the chapters from cassias view, then go back for kys! Lol

Much better than Matched in my opinion. Simply put Cassia bores me so the opportunity to get some insight on Ky was much appreciated.

I kinda flew threw the end of this book because I got really bored of it. I guess I just don’t like dystopian/future novels because I always get so sick of them! I liked the first one, but this one was not very good!

Only finished reading this because I feel compelled to complete a series once I begin it. Although the book has some interesting parts, it is nowhere near as good as the first book (Matched).

It seemed to be a lot slower than the first book. I was anxiously waiting for the two main characters to finally see each other again, but it didn't happen until about page 200. Then they went on a very long journey, much too long, so I did end up losing interest in the book a few times and had to make myself come back and read it. The thing I was waiting to happen in the book didn't happen until the very end. Overall it's a good book. I just wished it would move faster. The characters had way too many flashbacks in the book, and the flashbacks weren't always pertinent to the story plot. That's just my preference, though. I like books with few flashbacks and books in which the story moves along at a faster pace.
