I was originally going to rate this lower when I started the book and was unsure about it. However, as I kept reading, it got better and better. The crazy plot twists and information that kept coming in the merging timelines made it great.

It's about Natalie, who was blamed for her coworker's death. But they didn't find the body, and all the evidence pointed to her.
I enjoyed this book tbh. I expected a different plot from what I had guessed since the first time I read this book. And it turned out that almost all my guesses were correct, the lost dawn, the purpose of the email. Yeah, I also don't think about Dawn's motive for doing this and Caleb, I know he's odd but I don't know there's a reason behind it.
The twist was too absurd for me.. and how it ended. The spilsh splash that Freida usually adds at the end, I found it a little weird?.
Eughh, this book is just so-so for me

I enjoyed this one, but not my favourite Freida. I didn’t particularly like any of the characters (Natalie was a grown adult who was a bully and Dawn just wasn’t that likeable, even if you felt sorry for her), the story was okay as was the twist, I don’t think it’s anything to be raving about. Some Freida’s books hit for me and some of them don’t, and this was just one that didn’t. Don’t get me wrong, the story was intriguing and whilst the twist wasn’t gag worthy, it was still interesting and the tension throughout was decent. It did leave you guessing in parts and what was going to happen, but also sometimes a little slow?
Short, sharp, punchy chapters is always a win and a quick read/listen if you’re wanting a small thriller read.
