It was a fast read. I liked part I; however part II…..ugh.. Gone Girl plot twist. I had really high hopes for this. And I heard one of her other books has a similar plot twist to another best seller.

Don’t get me wrong, there are a few FM books I like but I just wish I don’t have to read another book that is so similar to other books like Gone Girl and The Last Mrs. Parrish.

I thought it was done and I didn't see that epilogue coming. Mind blown! This is my second Freida book and this is so much better than the first I've read which is Never Lie. Will definitely read more from her!

Natalie is very unlikable and Dawn is a turtle-loving strange accountant who work together. Dawn goes missing and is soon found murdered. There is a lot of now and before segments and many emails throughout the book to pull the story together. There are multiple surprises and I was not sure how it was going to wrap up. Generally unrealistic, but a fast read, and like I’ve noticed with most of Frieda McFadden books, more like a YA book.
