I don’t think I’ve ever read the word turtle so much in my life. This book was a bit underwhelming to me, none of the twists really shocked me and I wasn’t particularly invested in any of the characters. I read it in one afternoon so it’s defo a quick and entertaining read but definitely not particularly memorable

This one’s about a woman whose coworker goes missing and after going to her house to look for her, discovers a bunch of blood and calls the police, and as a result becomes the prime suspect. This one was even more predictable than the last one and I figured out the twist very early on so that put a bit of a damper on things. I also similarly didn’t end up really caring much about any of the characters and they all suuucked for different ways so that was not the most fun. So, overall, same score as the last one I think. Gonna take a break from her books and come back to them later cus these haven’t been as good as some of her others.

I saw so many reviews mention it was too heavy on the turtles, and I thought how bad could it be? BAD.
